You spent months hoping to show up when someone types your trade and your town. One morning you do. They tap your result. Then the page loads late, the offer is fuzzy, and the number is buried. Ten seconds later they open the next result. You were found. You still lost the visit.
Being found on Google is only the door. The page has to finish the job.
That means:
- The first screen says what you do and where you are, in words a stranger typed into search.
- A phone number or form they can use without hunting.
- Proof you are real — hours, address, a short note on who you help — before they trust the call.
- A page that opens on a phone without pinching or waiting.
Ranking without a usable page is expensive vanity. The click already paid for itself. Do not waste it on a brochure that does not answer.
If you show up in search and still lose the next tab, write to hello@merkwell.com. Say which search you want to win and what they must see on that first screen. We can make the click worth keeping.
